Having a new dog can add expenses to your everyday budget. It is important to save as much money as possible on dog food so that it doesn't throw your budget off. Getting free samples is a great way to save money, but these don't last forever. So using coupons is a good long term strategy for saving money on dog food and other related products.
What I usually do is search for coupons online about an hour before I got shopping. This way I have the time to search for all the coupons that I need and print them out. I always check and make sure that the coupons are up to date and have not yet expired. After I finish shopping, I always look over the recipe to make sure that it is accurate. Then I look at the most expensive stuff and try to find ways to reduce the cost of that item with coupons.

So, you should always be doing comparison shopping to save the most money. Also be sure to check prices online as well. Sometimes online stores will give you a big discount if you buy in bulk. Plus many online stores have no sales tax.
